Officially launched in early 2010, CHAIN Boland is an NPO (NPO 77158) that is active in the 5 towns of Witzenberg Municipal district, the towns being Ceres, Tulbagh, Prince Alfred Hamlet, Wolseley and Op die Berg.

We are a small animal welfare organization made up of a few volunteers and are a pro-life organization, with rescue, rehabilitation and re-homing as our aim. Our vision is “To create an environment of animal well-being in the Boland”.

We currently have a temporary shelter facility in Tulbagh.
