About Us
Husky Heaven Rescue is a dedicated sanctuary for Huskies and other breeds in need. Founded in 2014, we aim to help this magnificent, yet often misunderstood breed by providing them with the care, space, and attention they deserve. Our current facility houses 60 rescues on-site, offering large enclosures with raised cabins, running areas, and splash pools to allow the dogs to run, dig, and swim freely.
In 2019, we were gifted a larger property that has allowed us to expand and offer even better care. With boarding rooms featuring their own gardens and 24/7 CCTV monitoring, our new site ensures that the Huskies (and other breeds) in our care are safe and well looked after.
Our Mission
We rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome Huskies from across South Africa—many of which are strays, abandoned, or surrendered. Each dog receives veterinary care, including sterilization, vaccination, deworming, and microchipping. Our rehoming process is thorough, with home checks and strict contracts to ensure our rescues find loving, responsible homes.

Husky Heaven Rescue operates solely on public donations and sponsorships. As a registered NPC with an open book policy, we welcome any contributions to help us continue our mission. Whether it’s monetary donations, supplies, or volunteering, your support helps make a difference in the lives of these wonderful dogs.
We also offer boarding facilities, especially for Huskies, in our secure, husky-proof enclosures.
Get Involved
Help us raise awareness about the Husky breed and responsible pet ownership. We welcome volunteers and regularly organize events, fundraisers, and school visits to spread the word about animal care and cruelty prevention.
